| The (OFDA) Ohio Funeral Directors
Association, located in Columbus has represented funeral homes across Ohio for
more than a hundred years. Over 1100 funeral homes in Ohio are members of
the OFDA with the current President being Mr. Kenneth A. Cahall from Cahall Funeral
Homes. "Promoting Excellence in Funeral Service" is the mission statement
of the OFDA and the organization claim to be the "strongest family of professional
funeral associations in the US". They are also one of the largest Associations

Funeral Directors Association are actively promoting the use of technology to
its members by means of offering a special deal on web site design and the facility
to offer online obituaries with photographs. The Ohio Funeral Directors
Association also offer health care program including, life insurance's and dental
cover to their members. Pre-need programs are also a major concern of the
OFDA and much attention is being drawn to these type of life insurance and funeral
insurance policies. According
to records, Ohio had 109,700 deaths in 2003 with cremation being the preferred
