The North Carolina Funeral Directors Association (NCFDA) is located in Raleigh, North Carolina.  The current president of the NCFDA is Mr. Dorman Caudle from the funeral company Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home, Inc.  The mission statement of the NCFDA is "Serving you... so you can serve your families better!  There are currently 265 funeral homes that subscribe to membership of the North Carolina Funeral Directors Association.

Cremation are fast becoming a preffered choice for many families and North Carolina is no exception.  According to records official records for 2003, there were 73,443 deaths in the state with 14,682 or 19.99% ending with a cremation service.  Projections suggest that this figure will rise to over 30% by 2010 in North Carolina.
