The Indiana Funeral Directors Association (IFDA) is located in Indianapolis where it was first set up in 1880 by 47 charter members.  The association currently has 480 funeral related members, mainly funeral homes.  The current president of the Indiana Funeral Directors Association is Mr. Timothy Yoder from Goshen, Indiana. 

In the state of Indiana in 2003 according to statistics there were 56,017 death.  Of these deaths 9,684 or 17.29% were dealt with by means of a funeral cremation.  Cremation in Indiana are expected to increase 19.52 % by 2010.

The members of the Indiana Funeral Directors Association formed Master Choice® in 2003.  Master Choice® is a trust fund for funeral pre-arrangements.
